We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, an all-volunteer Board of Directors, Advisory Council, and membership of educators, researchers, parents, and advocates focused on supporting individuals with dyslexia and those who interact with them.

We are happy you have found us. 

Our IDA branch is a community and a network, not a physical location. We work together to provide educators, families, and individuals living with dyslexia resources for hope, education, and advocacy. 

Dyslexia is a language-based learning difference that causes difficulty with reading and other literacy skills. It is a neurobiological condition, not a problem of intelligence, visual issues, or laziness. 

What is Dyslexia?

The Northern Ohio Branch of the International Dyslexia Association:

  • Educates about dyslexia and appropriate instruction
  • Advocates for early identification of dyslexia and educational opportunities
  • Supports our community with professional development and resources
