Learn with NOBIDA

The Northern Ohio Branch of the International Dyslexia Association offers multiple, evidence based, annual professional development opportunities. We are confident that our structured literacy programs will empower you with strategies that benefit all students.

Professional development recognition at the highest level.

Honored to have been named IDA’s Branch Excellency Award winner for multiple years, our professional development offerings are not only informative and inclusive, they are based on quantitative research. We understand that the majority of students learn to read better when taught with structured teaching of basic language skills.

Developed by literacy researchers, instructors, assessment specialists, and state-level advocates, NOBIDA’s courses provide attendees with accessible, structured, and multisensory teaching strategies.

We offer professional development and family and parent focused literacy programming throughout the school year and summer, both in person and online.

NOBIDA’s Annual Symposium is a community staple in Northern Ohio and we often host parent and advocate sessions to support families.

Register for a course and increase your understanding of dyslexia, Ohio’s dyslexia laws, and navigating student advocacy while fulfilling ongoing education requirements.*
